For nearly 40 years, Lilly Conferences have provided opportunities for the presentation of the scholarship of teaching and learning. Conference participants are made up of faculty and administrators at various stages in their academic careers that come from across the world representing nearly every discipline found in higher education.

Effective faculty development requires a community of scholars sharing, discussing, critiquing and reflecting, and identifying how each of us can improve our craft.

For 43 years, Lilly Conferences have served as a dynamic national forum for sharing the scholarship of teaching and learning—with the ultimate goal of better teaching that leads to deeper student learning. Our participants include faculty and administrators at all career stages, representing a wide range of disciplines from institutions across the United States. Each conference typically welcomes attendees from more than 30 states and over 125 colleges and universities.
